Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of students’ aesthetic competence development in the conditions of creative activity by the example of future psychologists - social pedagogues. The factors affecting the functioning of the aesthetic education system are discussed. It is shown that the aesthetic competence of an individual is the result of the development of creative imagination, creative activity, artistic and aesthetic perception of the world, emotional and sensual reactions in the sphere of the artistic and aesthetic, as well as cultural and aesthetic attitudes. The conditions for the development of the aesthetic competence are revealed.
