GERONTOLOGICAL PARADIGMS IN RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH LINGUO-CULTURES

Abstract. The article examines the problem of basic concept expression in different languages. The paper describes the methods and principles of linguistic analysis of gerontological concept "age" in the English language in correlation with the Russian language. The authors emphasize that the research data acquired when analyzing different anthropocentric conceptions should be correlated with the data of other related sciences. Such integration allows the modern linguists to develop a comprehensive approach to analyzing the key concepts in the form of basic categories on the basis of one language or comparing two or more languages.
