TEXTUAL CRITERIA OF LEGAL DISCOURSE IN MODERN ENGLISH-LANGUAGE MEDIA (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE CONCEPT LAW)

Abstract. In the article the multidimensional concept LAW is analyzed in terms of its conceptual component. The conceptual component of the basic concept of legal discourse in the process of its objectivation in the journal press reveals seven lexical-semantic variants. It is ascertained that the concept LAW during its legal objectivation is most fully considered in the explicative text structure (5-6 cognitive features), but it is less fully realized in the descriptive text type (2-3 cognitive features).
