NEUROPHYSIOLOGICAL PATTERNS IN PHONOSEMANTICS

Rud' Elena Evgen'evna
Southern University (Institute of Management, Business and Law), Rostov-on-Don

Abstract. In the article the content of the notion "neurophysiological patterns" which can be used in phonosemantic research in the field of psycholinguistics and linguistics is revealed. The description of speech activity, mechanisms of speech generation and participation of neurophysiological patterns in the formation of speech utterances is given. Relying on the connection between the denotation and the linguistic sign, the author classifies the neurophysiological patterns into sound and kinematic ones. The universality of neurophysiological patterns and the influence of intra- and extralinguistic factors on the formation of speech are emphasized in the research.
