SPECIFICS OF USING CLIL METHODOLOGY IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATION

Abstract. The article analyzes the basic characteristics of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) methodology as an innovative approach in the language education system at a higher school. The author summarizes the advantages and shortcomings of CLIL-education and identifies certain difficulties arising when implementing CLIL-technology. The paper describes the experience of implementing CLIL conception at Ogarev Mordovia State University.
