TEXT AS A SOURCE OF LINGUISTIC INFORMATION AT HOME READING LESSONS

Abstract. The article justifies the necessity to teach students the peculiarities of a literary text at the practical English lessons. The students supposingly should not only recognize linguo-cultural and lexico-grammatical structures different from those in their native language but also identify the interlingual differences, the analysis of which should promote deeper understanding of target language logic and consequently the logic of a native language.
