FORMATION OF THINKING ACTIVITY IN THE CONDITIONS OF TRANSLATION LISTENING

Abstract. The article considers the professional thinking of an interpreter and the ways of its formation in the process of teaching translation listening. The authors turn to the basic forms of thinking - notion, judgment, inference - in the process of semantic auditory perception. The paper presents ways of disclosing the content of the sounding text by fixing theme-rematic unities and constructing a scheme of theme-rematic development, as well as by highlighting the denotative structure of the text.
