EMOTIONAL-EVALUATIVE VOCABULARY AS AN ELEMENT OF SUBJECTIVE INFORMATION (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE GERMAN LANGUAGE)

Abstract. The article considers rich semantic potential of the emotional-evaluative vocabulary to express subjective attitude to the objects and phenomena of the surrounding world. The author analyzes the role of emotional-evaluative vocabulary to develop linguistic worldview and briefly examines linguistic theory on interaction between parts of speech, since subjective-evaluative meanings can be expressed by linguistic units of different levels, in particular, by the units belonging to the dominant or periphery of qualitative-evaluative functional-semantic field. Vocabulary analysis is conducted by the material of the modern German language. Special attention is paid to the verbal lexemes with connotative colour which contain in their lexico-semantic structure the semes of quality and evaluation and serve to express additional information.
