Abstract. The article considers adjective formation in the Even language. Qualitative adjectives are formed by different suffixes, basically from verbal bases. Relative adjectives are formed basically from nominal and adverbial bases by special suffixes. The specificity of Even adjectives involves the fact that they are recognized only in the context of a sentence.
