WAYS TO CONVEY NON-EQUIVALENT VOCABULARY OF THE NOVEL BY G. G. MARQUEZ "ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF SOLITUDE" IN THE RUSSIAN TRANSLATION

Abstract. The article deals with the problem of conveying the non-equivalent vocabulary of G. G. Marquez’s novel "One Hundred Years of Solitude" in the Russian translation; some ways of translating non-equivalent vocabulary are studied and analyzed; the dependence of the choice of the way of translation of nationally-marked lexical units on their functional load in the original text is revealed and described.
