DUALISM OF PROSODIC DETERMINANT IN THE UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article examines the essence of prosodic determinant and marked unit in the Ukrainian language. Relying on the data on narrowing and broadening of basic tone frequency range in the different types of communicative sentences the authors conclude on the existence of two different in quality prosodic spaces in one language which is conditioned by ambivalence of nuclear units.
