THE OPPOSITION "ONE’S OWN" - "OTHER’S" IN LENA GORELIK’S NOVEL "MY WHITE NIGHTS"

Anokhina Anastasiya Andreevna
Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University

Abstract. The purpose of the article is to identify the peculiarities of the opposition "one’s own" - "other’s" in the autobiographical migrant novel "My White Nights" by Lena Gorelik. In the work one can observe the phenomenon of gradual blurring of the boundary between two conceptual sets "homeland" - "foreign land", which, on the one hand, becomes an element of the dialogue of cultures, and on the other hand, the proof of the possibility of transition to an open, hybrid identity, manifested at different levels of the text: ideological-figurative, linguistic and spatial-temporal.
Key words and phrases: межкультурная литература, "свое" - "чужое", гибридная идентичность, межкультурная идентичность, межкультурное литературоведение, Лена Горелик, intercultural literature, "one’s own" - "other’s", hybrid identity, intercultural identity, intercultural literary criticism, Lena Gorelik
