WAYS OF ANTI-PROVERBS FORMATION IN THE TURKISH LANGUAGE

Abstract. Basing on the analysis of the Turkish anti-proverbs - short utterances of humorous nature, formed by the distortion of classical proverbs, - the article identifies the most common ways of their formation. It is noted that the main method of creating anti-proverbs is one-component lexical replacement. The paper traces the reasons for the activation of anti-proverbs in the Turkish language at the turn of the XX-XXI centuries, dictated by radical changes in the life of the country, change in the pace of economic development and vector orientation to the traditions of the West. In this connection, the author gives the characteristic of the transformation of the Turkish society traditional values, which inevitably found its literary expression in anti-proverbs.
