ADVANTAGES OF USING INFO-GRAPHICS WHEN TEACHING SPEAKING SKILLS AT THE LESSONS OF RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article considers the didactic and functional potential of using info-graphics at the lessons of Russian as a foreign language aimed to form speaking skills. Special attention is paid to developing monological speech skills. Info-graphics has been introduced into the practice of teaching Russian as a foreign language just recently, but it obviously has indisputable advantages when teaching the productive types of speech activity to foreign students. Among the advantages the author mentions authenticity, the possibility to use ready-made materials without preliminary adaptation. Info-graphics raises motivation for the language learning, it is suitable for different types of classroom and out-of-class activities.
