Abstract. The literary tale in the Yakut prose is a rather uninvestigated phenomenon. On the one hand, it has a traditional form tracing its origin from a national folk tale, and on the other hand, national authors propose their own original literary form. The structural and functional analysis of the poetics of "Nursery Tales" by the Yakut authoress Ariadna Borisova allowed concluding that they are author’s tales. A fabulous element interweaves with the everyday life, acquires the features of daily routine, everyday life acquires fabulous features, and personages’ moral development is shown in the unusual, fabulous circumstances. The analysis of poetics and structure of fabulous story "Kundeli Kuo" by the Evenk Dmitry Aprosimov allowed the researcher to identify the influence of the Evenk nimngakan, Yakut olonkho and Russian folk tales.
