SYSTEM OF SPATIAL PREPOSITIONS OF THE GERMAN LANGUAGE (CONCEPTUAL APPROACH)

Abstract. The article is devoted to the consideration of the features of the semantic functions of prepositions with spatial meaning in the German language from the point of view of the conceptual approach. The author gives a brief description of the system of prepositions expressing static and dynamic spatial relations in the German language, identifies semantic types of nouns in prepositional combinations. The focus of the work is on presenting ways to conceptualize spatial relations by native speakers. The paper suggests an algorithm for finding the necessary preposition of spatial meaning.
