SYNTACTIC CONCEPT: CRITERIA AND METHODS OF ANALYSIS

Abstract. The article deals with topical issues of the theory of syntactic concepts, analyses the use of the most adequate criteria and methods for the purpose of their application in the study of possible modal and local modifications of syntactic concepts. The novelty of the research is in the fact that a new classification of syntactic concepts has been proposed, the definition of a syntactic concept is elaborated. The obtained results can be used in studying the theory and practice of translation, in teaching a foreign language, in the field of artificial intelligence.
