LINGUO-DIDACTIC POTENTIAL OF SOCIAL ADVERTISING TEXTS IN TEACHING FRENCH TO LINGUISTIC UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Abstract. The article identifies a linguo-didactic potential of social advertising texts in teaching French as a foreign language and justifies the reasonability of their usage as one of the most efficient means to form students’ communicative competence, creative thinking, informational and analytical skills. The use of social advertising texts promotes the formation of the value orientations and behavioural stereotypes of modern student youth in linguistic universities. The paper provides examples of social advertising texts use at French lessons.
