PECULIARITIES OF COLOUR TERM SEMANTICS IN V. O. PELEVIN’S POST-MODERNISTIC TEXTS

Abstract. The article is devoted to analysing the chromatic worldview of the post-modernist writer V. O. Pelevin. Interest in the writer’s language in modern science is associated with impetuous development of the anthropocentric paradigm. The paper examines colour term semantics, describes the structure of the author’s individual chromatic field and concludes that V. O. Pelevin’s chromatic worldview has its own peculiarities. In his fiction texts, the post-modernist writer creates an achromatic unreal-real artistic world with colour fragments.
