GRAMMAR-STYLISTIC AND EMOTIVE INTERLINGUISTIC LACUNAE

Abstract. Like most linguistic terms, the terms "lacuna" and "lacunarity" are far from unambiguity and precision, especially since lacunology as a specific area of linguistic knowledge is still in its infancy. There have been various proposals related to terminology ordering in this area, but today we can state the prevalence of polysemy by the type of metonymy: lacuna is a phenomenon itself (= lacunarity) and a unit that is missing instead of the intended one that is virtual entity. The most research attention, for obvious reasons, is attracted by lacunae of lexical and lexical-phraseological levels. However, in discourse, grammatical lacunae perform various semantic-pragmatic functions; therefore it seems relevant to consider the characteristics of interlinguistic lacunae in the grammatical sphere in order to demonstrate their pragmatic, stylistic, connotative and emotional-expressive functions.
Key words and phrases: грамматика, стилистика, эмотивность, межъязыковые лакуны, элиминирование лакуны, межкультурная коммуникация, grammar, stylistics, emotiveness, interlinguistic lacunae, lacunae elimination, cross-cultural communication
