Using Spider Web Technology when Developing C1 Students Foreign-Language Discussion Skills in the Process of Unmoderated Group Discussion

Abstract. The methodology to form foreign-language discussion skills in the process of unmoderated group discussion is still poorly investigated. The article for the first time describes the approved technology (Spider Web) specially developed to conduct unmoderated discussions. The author proposes previously unknown methodological techniques aimed at developing students foreign-language discussion skills and/or correcting the existing communicative habits. The authors criteria to assess C1 students discussion skills are suggested.
