Linguistic Means of Individual Authorial Concepts Verbalization in J. Cheever’s Stories

Abstract. The paper aims to identify the basic means of individual authorial concepts verbalization in J. Cheever’s stories. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that the researchers reveal the key concepts in J. Cheever’s stories, identify and describe their value characteristics and individual-authorial specificity in comparison with appropriate stereotyped concepts of the USA linguo-culture. The conclusions are made that J. Cheever’s stories contain key individual authorial concepts differentiated relying on literary analysis, taking into account ideological content of his works. Figurative language means serve as an efficient tool to transfer additional authorial meanings.
