Abstract. The authors review the monograph of Ph. D. in History, Associate Professor of Naberezhnye Chelny Institute of Social-Pedagogical Technologies and Resources I. V. Kornilova, which is entitled Training of Teachers within Kazan' Province during Pre-Revolutionary Period" (Saarbrucken: Lambert Academic Publishing, 2012. 211 p.), and come to the conclusion that this work erases great lacuna in the study of educational policy, teachers training system and its specificity in multinational Kazan' province.
