CRIMINAL LIABILITY FOR CRIMES AGAINST INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ACCORDING TO LEGISLATION OF EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

Abstract. The article considers the questions of the criminal-legal ensuring of intellectual property protection in certain European countries. The author examines the European legislation on liability for intellectual rights infringement. Particular attention is paid to the structure of the legal regulation of criminal liability for these offenses, to the range of creativity results and individualization means, which infringement is recognized as criminal. On the basis of the research, the author comes to the conclusion that intellectual property in Europe countries is mainly understood by the legislator as a single object of criminal-legal protection.
