"LEFT" AND "RIGHT" RADICALISM IN IDEOSOPHY AND PRACTICE OF THE RUSSIAN INTELLIGENTSIA AT THE BEGINNING OF THE ХХ TH CENTURY

Abstract. The author considers nihilistic and anti-nihilistic discourses in the ideology and practice of the Russian intelligentsia at the beginning of the ХХ th century, and substantiates his opinion that the social development of Russia led to the fact that nihilism became a part of the political programme and methods of radical intelligentsia, which was opposed by the Russian conservatives from the perspective of anti-nihilism and "right radicalism".
