CENTRES OF REMINISCENCE FOR PEOPLE OF THE THIRD AGE AS CONDITION FOR PERSONALITY’S SOCIAL-CULTURAL ALIENATION OVERCOMING

Abstract. In the article the problems of elderly people personality’s alienation in modern society, which are conditioned by a number of reasons of objective and subjective nature, are considered. The idea of the formation of centres of reminiscence on the base of institutions of culture as a condition of personality’s social-cultural alienation overcoming is grounded. On the basis of the conducted research the authors suggest a list of the forms of social-cultural activity that can be used in centres of reminiscence for the satisfaction of the cultural-leisure and communicative needs of elderly people in the process of the prevention and elimination of alienation problems.
