EDUCATIONAL FUNCTION OF ARTISTIC EMOTION: PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL ASPECT

Abstract. The educational function of artistic emotion revealed in this article is defined by the author as one of the structural levels of aesthetic sensibility. According to this interpretation, the realization of the pedagogical potential of artistic emotion is carried out by means of ascension from the lower level of structure to the upper one representing formed aesthetic sensibility. On the basis of the analysis of L. S. Vygotsky’s propositions about "aesthetic response" and the "cathartic" influence of art, as well as V. N. Kholopova’s theories of musical emotions the concepts "artistic emotion", "musical emotion", "aesthetic sensibility" and their interconnection are characterized.
