EVOLUTION OF THE MAIN CONCEPTS OF REGIONALISM IN LATIN AMERICA

Abstract. Economic integration in Latin America went through the stage from the liberalization of commerce, the implementation of liberal economic doctrine in the framework of the doctrine of open regionalism to the comprehension of the vulnerability of this concept in front of threats and challenges, with which the countries came across at the beginning of the 2000s. The article presents the evolution of concepts from open to post-liberal regionalism, the essential differences of approaches.
