"AMERICAN DREAM" AND "SOVIET LIFESTYLE" - THE BASIC FOUNDATIONS OF CONFRONTATION IDEOLOGY

Abstract. The article is a result of the cooperation of historic science, historiography, philosophy and political science. A new thing in comparison with other works is a projection of the international policy of the Russian Federation and the USA on attitudes to different countries of the world. The author presents his own definition of the key terms: "American dream" and "Soviet lifestyle". The paper suggests thoroughly studying and analytically evaluating Soviet-American confrontation conditioned by the total difference of the ideological platforms of the two states.
