SPECIFICS OF MUSICAL DRAMATURGY ARRANGEMENT IN D. D. SHOSTAKOVICH’S CYCLE "TEN CHORAL POEMS"

Abstract. The article is devoted to D. D. Shostakovich’s cycle "Ten Poems on Texts by Revolutionary Poets of the End of the XIX and the Beginning of the XX Century, Op. 88, for Chorus a cappella". The authors provide a sequential analysis of musical dramaturgy arrangement, which allowed identifying peculiarities of musical expressive means and developmental peculiarities of the two contrasting imaginative spheres of the large-scale choral cycle.
