MOSCOW ASSAY MASTER WITH THE STAMP "A • K". WHO IS HE?

Abstract. In the process of filling "The Database on the Russian stamps on the products of decorative and applied arts made of precious metals", established in State Research Institute of Restoration, it became clear that along with the assay master Andrei Antonovich Kovalskii, who had the stamp "A • K" and who worked during the period of 1821-1856, there were also stamps of another assay master, who also had the stamp "A • K". But these stamps date back to 1879-1884. In the literature the information about this master is missing. The article reveals the name of this unknown assay master, who worked in Moscow assay tent.
