Abstract. The article raises the problem of controlling the efficiency of oral linguo-didactic test in a foreign language and provides the research findings on examiner’s influence on examinee’s results. The paper proposes a set of measures ensuring the observance of procedure requirements and raising the level of objectivity of assessment. The authors argue that interview quality indicators can be used for validization of a whole test.
