Abstract. The article is devoted to studying the means for efficient realization of the methodological technique of correspondence with peers from a target-language country as a motivation technique when teaching English to secondary-school pupils. The author justifies the efficiency of using the methodological technique of correspondence with peers from a target-language country for learners’ comprehensive language training according to the requirements of the modern federal state educational standards.
