SYSTEM OF EDUCATIONAL TASKS AIMED TO FAMILIARIZE NON-LINGUISTIC STUDENTS WITH PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS IN THE SPHERE OF BUSINESS COMMUNICATION (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE MODERN ENGLISH PERIODICALS)

Abstract. The article examines the problems of teaching the English phraseological units in the sphere of business communication to non-linguistic students and proposes an approach based on the author’s system of educational tasks. The proposed system presupposes simultaneous assimilation of different types of phraseological units: phrasal verbs, terms - phraseological units, proverbs. The tasks are typical of business communication and contain phraseological units taken from modern authentic business periodicals. The experiment testifies that the proposed educational tasks improve students’ oral and written phraseological competence.
