TEACHERS EMOTIONAL COMPETENCE: ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTIC

Abstract. The article is devoted to identifying the basic characteristics of the teachers emotional competence as a factor of his professional success. Contrary to previous studies, this phenomenon is examined not in the psychological aspect but rather from the viewpoint of the competence-based approach and peculiarities of professional pedagogical activity. The author offers her own understandding of essence, structure and content of the teachers emotional competence. Special attention is paid to the justification of its intrapersonal aspect.
