Reflexive Model to Motivate Postgraduate Students for Informal Education

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of raising the quality of postgraduate students’ scientific and research activity. Efficiency of the reflexive model to motivate postgraduate students for informal education is justified. The emphasis is made on contextual supervision, which presupposes participation in the process of developing a postgraduate student’s individual trajectory of scientific and research activity. Supervision also includes guiding a postgraduate student’s personal and professional development in the process of informal education. Postgraduate students’ personal and professional pro-activity is considered as an integrative criterion of their involvement in informal education. The authors suggest a definition of this concept, reveal its content and identify the criteria to assess the degree of postgraduate students’ involvement in informal education.
