Submitted: 30.01.2020.
Abstract. The article considers the phenomenon of technical students’ academic dishonesty. The paper emphasizes the scale of academic dishonesty among the students and the necessity of integrated efforts of the pedagogical community to solve this problem. The authors empirically prove that the basic factors influencing technical students’ academic dishonesty are the following ones: postmodernist reality; specificity of higher school educational environment that forms a certain attitude to academic dishonesty; learners’ personal characteristics. The authors suggest a new comprehensive approach to the problem solution.
