Abstract. The study aims to examine the Russian everyday life as a form of the Russian society’s mobilisation state in the past, as well as at the present time. The article has reviewed historical-natural, geopolitical and social-cultural factors contributing to the formation and functioning of the Russian ethnic group. Constructive as well as destructive, rational and irrational elements in the structure of the Russian everyday life are revealed accounting for its mobilisation status. The work is novel in that it attempts to conceptualise multi-level and multi-aspectual characteristics of the Russian everyday life and social sentiment determined by both historical and modern multi-ordinal reasons.
