Study of Problematic Discourses of the Pre-Abrahamic Ossetian Faith (by the Material of Internet Sources)

Abstract. The paper considers the Internet users’ views on the modern state of the Ossetian traditional faith "iron din". The article analyses communicative space of two web portals intended to provide a comprehensive survey of "iron din" sociocultural, educational, ideological aspects. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that the author for the first time examines specificity of the Internet-mediated communication concerning the Ossetian "traditional faith". It is proved that the Internet discourse under study possesses dynamic features and tends to shift from online to offline.
