Specificity of Population Reproduction in the Tyva Republic at the End of the 1980-1990s

Abstract. The paper aims to reveal specificity of population reproduction in the Tyva Republic at the end of the 1980-1990s. The article studies the regional population dynamics taking into account migration processes and population reproduction indicators - birth rate, mortality rate and natural population growth. The factors influencing these processes are revealed. Scientific originality of the study involves a comprehensive analysis of natural growth of the regional population in the mentioned period. The research findings are as follows: the author proves that Tyva demographic development is an integral element of national demographic processes, but the regional population dynamics has its own specificity conditioned by geographical and cultural peculiarities.
