Abstract. The article considers the problem of positive personality upbringing. The author reveals the notion and essence of positive pedagogy, the main characteristics of positive personality and the conditions of his/her upbringing. By studying the peculiarities of positive thinking as the basis of positive upbringing, the author substantiates the need for the development of the positive thinking of both adults involved in the process of upbringing and the child. Those rules of personality positive upbringing are given, which implementation in daily practice allows solving some objectives of positive pedagogy.
