LINGUOCOGNITIVE PECULIARITIES OF THE PERCEPTION OF DEFAMILIARIZATION IN POETIC SPEECH

Ustinova Tat'yana Viktorovna
Omsk State Pedagogical University

Abstract. The article examines the peculiarities of meaning making in the process of readers’ reception of poetic defamiliarization. The author describes typical manifestation of defamiliarization on the macro- and microstructural levels of a text. The perception of defamiliarization is analyzed in terms of attentional semantics by L. Talmy and the theory of lexical concepts and cognitive models by V. Evans. By the example of defamiliarization in the poem by A. Dragomoshchenko the mechanisms of reconsideration of the notion "time", by actualizing cognitive models of knowledge and producing new attributes of these models through the associative switching, are shown.
Key words and phrases: поэтическое остранение, конструирование значения, профилирование внимания, когнитивная модель, лингвокреативность, poetic defamiliarization, meaning construction, attention profiling, cognitive model, linguocreativity
