GAMIFICATION AS A TECHNIQUE TO TEACH THE RUSSIAN-LANGUAGE SPONTANEOUS COMMUNICATION (BY THE EXAMPLE OF TEACHING STUDENTS OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SPECIALITIES)

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of gamification in teaching Russian as a foreign language. The author shares her experience of working with students of engineering and technical specialities, proposes a comprehensive case-based methodology of foreign language teaching, analyses the possibilities of the modern communicative approach and such a form of motivating a non-linguistic student as gamification of learning. The researcher’s attention is focused on the problem of teaching professional educational and scientific communication to the representatives of another culture. The paper analyses certain aspects of a learning situation, which promote the most efficient usage of different language teaching methods, provides a general description of the gamification method for teaching foreign students educational and professional language.
