INTELLIGENT VOICE ASSISTANT ALICE IN CLASSES OF RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (LEVEL A1)

Abstract. The article is one of the first attempts to describe the didactic potential of the Russian virtual voice assistant Alice (Yandex company) for classes of Russian as a foreign language. The study describes in detail the benefits of using the Russian voice assistant Alice, the communicative opportunities of this intellectual assistant for classes of Russian as a foreign language. The paper provides a brief analysis of the capabilities of analogue foreign voice-controlled programs, on the basis of which the advantages of the domestic development in relation to the techniques of teaching Russian as a foreign language are identified and substantiated. The authors also describe the system of tasks "Conversations with Alice" developed by them for the initial stage of language learning (level A1) and the results of testing this system among foreign students at the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia.
