Grammatical Peculiarities of Functional-Semantic Field of Voice (by the Material of the Russian Sentences with Verbs of Contact)

Abstract. The paper aims to identify specificity of the voice category representation in the Russian sentences with verbs of contact. Special attention is paid to passive constructions formation, which occurs according to the norms of the Russian language. The functional-semantic field of voice includes, along with the voice category, reflexive constructions, so the author identifies and analyses constructions with reflexive verbs of contact. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that the researcher reveals grammatical peculiarities of the functional-semantic field of voice by the material of the Russian sentences expressing situations of contact. The research findings are as follows: the author examines the functional-semantic field of voice in the Russian language from the viewpoint of semantic-functional syntax.
