Heuristic Dominant in Ch. Aitmatov’s Novel "Cassandra’s Brand"

Abstract. The article for the first time theoretically justifies adequacy of using the term "heuristic literature" in relation to Ch. Aitmatov’s works. Originality of the analytical approach includes identifying similarity of the author’s biographical time, space and the text chronotope. The hypothesis that the American futurologist Alvin Toffler served as the main character’s prototype is discussed. The findings indicate that the novel’s dominant focus lies in artistic development of relevant problems of the modernity that constitute axiological foundation of modern aesthetic discourse.
