Structure of Thematic Sphere "Computer Technologies" in the Russian and English Languages (Based on Specialized Lexicographic Sources)

Abstract. The aim of the study is to determine the structure of the thematic sphere "Computer Technologies" in the Russian and English languages. The article considers such large lexical groupings as lexico-semantic groups, terminological groups and thematic blocks. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that for the first time the sphere of computer technologies is described as a special complex structured systemic formation of vocabulary - a thematic sphere. As a result, the seme and lexical composition of the thematic sphere "Computer Technologies" is characterized due to the complex application of structural-semantic and terminological analysis.
