“Ode on Literature” by Lu Ji as a Technology of Poetic Reflection

Abstract. The aim of the study is to determine the features, basic principles and techniques that characterize the technology of poetic reflection in Lu Ji’s “Ode on Literature”. In this regard, the thematic-rhythmic structure of the work is revealed. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the comprehensive study of this text, its composition and poetological technique. A new translation of the ode is also given. As a result, the thematic division and rhythmic structure of the work are identified, the general features of Lu Ji’s literary reflection are revealed, the main methods of his logical-rhetorical technique and its aesthetic significance are determined.
