Abstract. The article considers the specificity of information environment heterogeneity as a factor determining the features of process of information exchange and the development of information society; reveals its distinctive properties regarding the educational space of higher vocational education system, and, in particular, the mutual influence of the analyzed property and the professional activity of the Higher School teacher.
