Abstract. The article considers the use of the educational projects method in the process of teaching the discipline "Foreign Language in Professional Sphere" at a non-linguistic higher education establishment. Special attention is paid to importance of the teacher’s activity change in the student’s research project work, his/her role as an organizer, consultant and moderator of students’ work at all the stages of the project. Development of students’ professional interest and creative individuality is carried out in the process of project activity fulfillment.
